Men's Ministry

God's Fortress Ministries

“Whom we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

- Colossians 1:28

As men of GFM, we want to protect our rings by zero grazing our partners for life hence the term, "Ring Fenced love."

The major objective of Ring Fenced Love/GFM Men's ministry is to inspire men to GROW in their Faith, Marriage/Family and Finances coupled with striving for perfection in God’s sight.

With regard to the family setting, our objective is to ensure that men fulfil their primary responsibilities within the family by providing leadership as:
  • The Priest (Spiritual Leader)
  • Provider (Financial & other forms of security)
  • Protector (of the household in all matters including spiritual)
  • Prophet (teach & live out the Word of God at home)

An unfortunate story is found in the fourth chapter of Genesis about two brothers. Cain was the elder and Abel was the younger, as fate would have it the elder killed the younger in cold blood. God, out of concern intervenes by ‘politely asking the murderer the whereabouts of his only younger and probably weaker brother he ought to have protected. With pomp and no remorse, Cain had the audacity to arrogantly answer back the sovereign God ‘Am I my brother’s keeper?’. This is typical of selfishness of no care to anyone else, yet Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. It is therefore, on this basis that GFM came up with this arm of service labeled ‘My brothers’ keeper’. Under this umbrella, many have been beneficiaries, but the following were unique cases;

WHAT WE DO

The Men’s Ministry is a vibrant and intentional space where men come together to grow, bond, and be sharpened in the Word and in life. Some of our key activities include:

Fellowship & Brotherhood – Regular gatherings where men share meals, testimonies, and life together.

Father & Son Legacy Talks – Intentional sessions that focus on generational impact, mentorship, and identity.

Sports & Bonding Events – Activities that encourage healthy competition, teamwork, and friendship.

Empowerment Forums
– Addressing critical topics like leadership, spiritual discipline, responsibility, and identity in Christ.

Guest Speaker Sessions – Featuring godly men sharing their journeys, wisdom, and insight with the brothers.

Why It Matters
As society increasingly downplays the role of men and undermines their authority in the home, the Church must stand firm in truth. This ministry exists to equip men to live out their calling and reclaim their role as spiritual leaders in their families and communities.
