One of God’s Fortress Ministries core values is family. This fully backed up in scripture in countless times starting from Genesis 2:7, 21-24 till Revelation. Strong and dynamic Churches depend a lot on the spiritual, emotional, financial and physical state of families in the Church.

It’s therefore on this premise that FFF was formulated and led by Elder Sam & Deborah Bagonza. In the past as still is June has been earmarked as GFM Family month, a time when all Church focus is on family matters.

This is further broken down by having married fellowships in the course of the year as well as Men & sons interactions (Ring Fenced) sealed by Women and girls get togethers (Ladies Fellowship).

It will be unbiblical to ignore the ministry and service of the children in any Church set up, more so at GFM. So this responsibility has been taken seriously since then till Church lockdowns since 2019.

Otherwise a lot of good work has been done amongst our children including Sunday school classes, well planned holiday discipleship and mentoring classes, career choice instruction, specialized girls sessions ‘code named Christian kisakate’.

All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13 (esv). It has been the guiding scripture in teaching, equipping, and mentoring our children in God’s ways for the many godly generations to come.

Dr. Catherine Sebuguzi graciously gives oversight of this vital ministry and supported with several other committed Disciples of Christ. Since moving to Komamboga the ministry leadership found it wise to have Sunday school classes of those eight years and below for a start.
