God's Fortress Ministries

One of God’s Fortress Ministries core values is family. This fully backed up in scripture in countless times starting from Genesis 2:7, 21-24 till Revelation. Strong and dynamic Churches depend a lot on the spiritual, emotional, financial and physical state of families in the Church.

It’s therefore on this premise that FFF was formulated and led by Elder Sam & Deborah Bagonza. To this day, June has been earmarked as GFM Family month, a time when all Church focus is on family matters.

This is further broken down by having marrieds fellowships in the course of the year as well as Men & sons interactions (Ring Fenced) sealed by Women and girls get-togethers (Ladies Fellowship).

Men's Fellowship (Ring Fenced)

This particular fellowship is dedicated exclusively to boys, men, husbands, and fathers. God’s Word offers timeless wisdom and counsel for males at every stage of life. In an age where global narratives heavily promote the “girl child agenda” under the guise of protecting vulnerable women, it is becoming increasingly apparent that there is a subtle effort to sideline men—portraying them as powerless and irrelevant.

Their God-given authority within the family is being challenged, and the divine design of man as the priest of the home and a pillar in society is being undermined. In response, the men have taken a stand—sharing meals, engaging in sports events, and holding meaningful conversations centered around fatherhood, legacy, and the bond between fathers and sons. As this fellowship continues to grow, there is much in store—brotherhood among men and intentional mentorship between fathers and sons, all rooted in restoring God’s vision for manhood.

Ladies Fellowship

In Scripture, the role and function of women are vital in advancing God's Kingdom. At GFM, the girls, women, wives, and mothers are making intentional efforts to deepen their fellowship and grow together in faith and purpose. Over the past few years, various activities have been organized to empower and equip women in practical and spiritual matters.

These have included cookouts that also serve as mentoring opportunities—teaching young girls about meal preparation, hygiene, and the expected roles of women in society. The fellowship has also tackled deeper topics such as sex education, conflict resolution, and personal development.

Leadership within the women’s fellowship is guided by a dedicated Ladies’ Leadership Committee that oversees their affairs and plans activities. Additionally, the group regularly hosts meetings featuring guest speakers who share insights and diverse perspectives on life, faith, and womanhood, encouraging and uplifting their sisters in Christ.
